She often uses wind in either defensive moments, or all out attacks ,where she needs to incapacitate her foe quickly, by ramming them into something, or simply causing them to lose their balance.
Valse is a glass cannon in combat, She can deal out astounding amounts of damage, but can be taken down with enough skill.
----History----
The daughter of a former military captain and a baker, Valse was born into a small port town. She lived her live in relative comfort up until elementary school. One day, while reading a story out loud in front of the class, she accidentally cast a massive wind spell that sent the entirety of the class back against the wall, injuring several students and nearly causing her to be expelled. This stunt managed to catch the eye of a Citadel representative, who had been visiting the school. Impressed with Valse's powerful accident, he propositioned her parents the idea of letting her go to the Citadel to hone her abilities. The parents, having a history with the Citadel, gladly agreed, and took her to orientation. On the way to her academy orientation, Valse caught sight of a slightly older girl living alone on the streets. Having never experienced this kind of thing before, Valse begged her parents to take the girl, who introduced herself as Credwyn, with them. Her parent's reluctantly agreed, and the two were enrolled together. The two stuck together as they grew up and quickly became the best of friends. The even began to regard each other as siblings eventually. Around the age of 18, Valse grew restless. She was tired of her routine, and she had become disillusioned with the Citadel and it's military. She wanted out by any means necessary, and one day, she found her chance. On her way home, she found an odd sight, a large spider was crawling near an old abandoned house. Valse immediately recognized the telltale signs of a familiar on the spider. Her curiosity piqued, she approached the spider, which fled. In a moment of determination, Valse pursued the spider, which led her to a hidden exit to the citadel, seemingly dug out by hand. In a moment of blind excitement, Valse jumped at the prospect of escape. She hastily gathered her things and stole several books as she fled out into the unknown.
